We've reached our summer rainy season, which means very localized storms break out randomly throughout the city almost every afternoon. Not long after these scenes were set up and shot we had our biggest gully washer yet. But it's exactly what everyone hopes for. Our forests have been closed since the middle of June.
We keep things fresh in between with cool colors and cheery vintage linens. This has certainly been my year for blue.
But pink seems to find its way into the scheme of things too, with vintage print sheets and tablecloths taking the lead. And this week's bouquet of asters is lasting forever and ever, upping the cheer quotient.
Such happy colors make me glad to be alive on a mid summer's day in any kind of weather. I hope you're having a wonderful start to our last week of July too!
Have a great new week!
Ciao!for now!

How beautiful! I love your bouquet of asters. Back in Ukraine, we always had asters blooming when it was back to school time, and many students gave them to their teachers.
