Visiting the Great Camps of the Adirondacks is on my fantasy list. Fall would be perfect for a jaunt like that.
I'm itching to gather up pinecones and seeds and such. You don't have to wait until December to enjoy the scent of evergreens!
I get my fall themed dishes out at about the same time as the sweaters. And I start looking at everyone's yummy recipes and try not to make everything about food!
What could be better for a September weekend?
I hope yours is good!
Ciao! for now!
Jacqueline
Love that comfy-looking wicker chair. I think I need to just sit a bit...

I love the little tea-pot. I bet it doesn't even drip. I'm into Fall too and am going through some sweaters and scarves. I so look forward to walks with Kane through the leaves. Hugs, Deb=^..^=x4
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful dishes, they are perfect for fall. I'd love to visit the Adirondacks too but here in northern Michigan it is so beautiful in the fall I'd hate to leave. Laura Cottage and Broome
ReplyDeleteOregon has decided to be unseasonably hot so it just doesn't seem "fallish" yet...but I'm heading on a trip to Maine and Prince Edward Island and hope it's "fallish" there! Loving all of your fall photos!
ReplyDeleteWe have had a few cooler days and are loving it. Hope to get outdoors this weekend. We adore the evergreens hanging. Can't wait to try that. Have a beautiful weekend!

Jacqueline,
ReplyDeleteI feel exactly the same and love all the things you have shown! Spending time in the Adirondacks is a dream of mine also! The closest I've come to that type of scenery was living in Green Bay WI which was gorgeous. In fall and winter I decorate with pinecones, berries, antlers, acorns and everything cabin like that I can pull out! It is my favorite time of the year! My color scheme is shades of brown, olive greens and red, for me, it all goes together and makes everything warm and cozy!

Love that last wicker chair. Handsome chair. I was at the Vintage Marketplace in Rainbow Ca. today and saw a beautiful cream and brown vintage platter and thought of you.
ReplyDeleteI'm so with Rebecca...warm and cozy in the fall..cabin like over at Mel's Designs from the Cabin blog....my colors are browns, reds and green....just fits in right in our cabin...with stained wood furniture (no whites)...sweetness...love your picture of the old house...wood trimmings...and the last picture with the chair under the tree...so nice!

What a lovely setting with that beautiful chair and you floral arrangement in the basket is wonderful! (-:
ReplyDeleteOh, your photos have such a nice, cozy fall flavor. While I love fall, I'm not quite ready for it yet. Summer doesn't last very long here and I didn't get enough of it. Hope you have a great weekend :)
ReplyDeleteI am no where near ready for fall, but your gorgeous blog makes it look and feel so inviting, I will maybe accept it more happily! It is so strange up here in OR! "Winter" with its grey, wet, gloom lasted til late July and up until this week, we only had 2 days get to 90. Now today it's supposed to be 98!! Meanwhile, I've seen many, many trees already turned bright red and gorgeous yellow! And our yard is full of leaves already! Crazy! I love, love, love that green wicker chair! And, of course, who wouldn't want to sit in that wicker chair by the suitcases! What a lovely, picturesque setting! Enjoy your cooler weather! oh, and that cabin door is wonderful, too! Love, Kay
