Take It Outside~Cabin & Cottage Patio Living

Today's montage is a collection of ways to dress up a season outdoors. Spring here is calming down, leveling out, and gliding into its last few weeks with a little more grace. Starting with a little lunch right on our front doorstoop, and moving on to other past settings in the yard or on the porch and patio for enjoying life at home in the open air. . . .

A little cafe lunch on the tiny front porch bancos.

Dessert and coffee at twilight.

I like changing up this cushioned metal patio "sofa" all season long. Mornings are especially nice on the east patio.

Time out under the eaves.

A bit of porch dressing for tea.

Vintage fabrics feature big in this small corner.

Supper in the cool of the day along the stucco garden wall under a canopy of leaves.

Celebrating garden style in the center patio.

Dining in seclusion.

A blue rose tea for cooling off outside.

I love perking up this patio with inexpensive thrift store finds like this cheery vintage coverlet. The look changes often.

Dressed up or down, a glorious season on the patio has begun!
Salute!

Jacqueline

  7. You must have half a dozen patios. Which is wonderful for us and you. The more tables dressed with vintage linens the better.

  9. Hi J,
I loved seeing all your nooks, crannies, porches, and patios... each perfectly delicious! Those fairytale gates and giant shade trees are a perfect backdrop, for all the cheery linens and floral chinaware... I would live outside... here it is still fickle...
    Enjoy your weekend!
