The Inside of Autumn

The weather has cleared, and the skies blue again. Rain is somewhat of an anomaly in the high desert. I stepped out this morning to look things over. When I shot the water dripping from the roof onto the patio I mentally flashed on an M. C. Escher poster I own called "Puddle."

Back in my own fascinating world, the rain barrel is now full to overflowing, and I have to move on to my own "impossible constructions" for the day, and a little bailing, since I've gotten behind on things.

It's been cozy bringing out the afghans and sweaters for the season, and seeing Autumn from the inside out for a moment. Maybe now I'm ready for a little more of that wondrous reality.
I hope you are too!
Ciao! for now!
