Last year in October Frosted Petunias sponsored a Tea Party Under A Halloween Moon. It's happening again on October 29th & 30th! This year it's called A Witch's Tea Party Under a Halloween Moon, and here's the link.
There's already a kettle full of fun boiling over there! You may want to check it out. In the meantime here's a peek at my entry from last year.
I chose a fall bird theme for my tablescape using my favorite Wedgewood china, a bit of mood lighting, and a few birds nests.
A vintage lace tablecloth is laid underneath, and my plain cotton napkins are centered on top. A bird placecard continues the theme.
Vintage flatware catches the twinkle of candlelight.
Creamware bowls, and a few pieces from my ironstone collection round out the table.
Mercury glass votives cast a moody glow. . . .
And a large Vintage McCoy jardiniere filled with dried baby's breath centers the table.
Isn't fall a fun time for tables?
Now I have to go think up something for the Witch's Tea!
Ciao! for now!
