Unexpected Inspiration

My inspiration for this post came from a little stack of spring colored tablecloths that got left out of the dresser in haste. I didn't even notice them while I was looking for what I really wanted. It was only later that I noticed how cheery they all looked together. And then my new Romantic Homes magazine also arrived looking so crisp and fresh with the blue lettering! I was off and running.

A little country blue enamelware.

Robin's egg blue too!

My vintage sewing tin fits right in.

And I found the sweetest fridge note pads at Michael's craft store.

And finally, a gorgeous pale blue origami egg. A gift from my talented friend Mary Saunders, author, teacher, and origamist. Isn't it just amazing?

I hope you're finding a bit of unexpected inspiration too!

Jacqueline

  5. You certainly have a talented eye for putting things together. It's fun to have you show us what's in your head as you think to pull it into a visual story.

As always, you have such pretty things, but by FAR is that origami egg a thing exquisite! WOW!

My husband used to do neat origami, I shall have to ask him if he's ever done an egg, don't believe he has ever tackled anything that difficult!

  18. Your inspiration is catching, Jacqueline, because now I want to bring out my spring table covers, to pore over my Easter egg collection (your Origami egg is absolutely stunning!), and to get over to Michaels when I can. I love those note pads. And I love the way you've grouped all those lovely items together in a Spring tableau.
