It's time for spring break! Doesn't that have a nice sound? That means it's time to freshen things up for visitors. And there's no better welcome than spring fresh and cozy vintage linens to lay your head down on!
Awesome lace insets on this pair of vintage pillow slips.
I'm using one of them on the boudoir pillow. . . . I just fold it over.
This night table linen topper is a more recent vintage from Lucca, Italy where beautiful linen is still a part of everyday life.
Busy weekend ahead!
I hope yours is great!
Jacqueline

ReplyDeleteHi Jacqueline. Looks like you have been ironing again!! Any guest would be so lucky to lay their heads down on those beautiful cases with the lace inserts. I am fixing the guest room up now but you are a little ahead of me. My guests will have to wait for awhile..Happy Thursday..Judy
ReplyDeleteSo gorgeous, Jacqueline. You certainly have taste right up my alley. Love it.
ReplyDeleteCould I be your guest? I would love it!!!

ReplyDeleteLove, Love, Love linens. I just can't get enough of them and yours are lovely. I agree with you nothing better than a freshly laundered vintage pillow slip to lay your head down. Love it ~!
ReplyDeleteI love your vintage pillow cases! They are just so sweet and too pretty to use. I rarely see pretty vintage pillow cases when I'm out at flea markets and never in as good of shape as these.
ReplyDeleteI did find a beautiful linen pillow case last month when we were at Scott's and it has beautiful crocheted lace on it. I only paid $1 for it. I bought it for the crochet lace, not realizing it was a pillow case. Problem is, there's only one, so now I'm not sure whethere to keep it or sell it on Etsy.

Your linens always look so crisp and pretty! I remember you saying you enjoy ironing them - it pays! I love the set with the crocheted squares!

ReplyDeleteWhat a great post. I love, love these linens, so delicate and romantic.

I loved seeing the creases in the pillow cases. My great-grandmother always said to iron those creases in -- that's how your guests will know they have clean linens! Had to laugh at a sweet memory. Sally
ReplyDeleteYour guests will never want to leave. Love the linens. The crocheted cases just steal my heart away. I have many pillow cases my grandmother created. We too have been getting ready for family house guests on the 17th.
ReplyDeleteHave fun and a wonderful spring break.
XO Celestina Marie
Jacqueline,
