Lilacs, Roses, and Sweet Peas

Three of my favorites! Too early for lilacs and roses here of course, but if I had already planted my sweet peas they would be coming up about now. The lilacs are a botanical print, and I found the sweet little rose painting in a sweet little shop that opened up recently.

My blue lidded jars are also a recent find, and add such a nice spring color all by themselves.

My Valentine roses have dried nicely in the pitcher, and I'm enjoying the lasting bloom of an indoor flowering plant. (The purple campanulas have spent their bloom. Do they bloom again? They will be planted in the garden.)

It won't be too long before we are looking at the real thing.

I hope you're enjoying a wonderful Sunday!

Jacqueline

Always beautiful pictures and thoughts from you! Those look like Azaleas in your picture- I like the bi-colored flowers on them.
The campanulas I have come up in the late spring and bloom for a long time in the summer, and they like shade.

Pretty pinks today Jacqueline. Sweet peas don't bloom here until July. Such a difference in our climates! I love sweet peas and planted a six-pack of plants around an obelisk last summer. The did really well and I picked many bouquets of their sweet scent for the house.

So pretty, Jacqueline. I always say I'm going to plant sweet peas, then don't. They remind me of my grandmother's garden. Hope life is good........Sarah
