Fall Fashion

Back in June I showed my living room mantel and hearth.

And now my fireplace insert is in transition to something I like better.

For now the hearth is a stage for some things I'm enjoying for fall.

I also keep my club chair covered in white in summer like I do almost all of the furniture. Here it is back to its fall look.

Fabric pattern is Laura Ashley "House Party." I think I picked it as much for its name as for its design!

On display are some of my very favorite decorating elements. Garden style, wicker, wire, white pottery, brown transferware, dried flowers and weeds, tin.

Has your fashion changed for fall too?
Hope you're enjoying it!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Ciao for now!

  4. I love everything you do. Your home is just precious.
Now, I am needing some pretty vintage pieces to go over a couple of club chairs that so need to be replaced or recovered..no money for either at this time. But, maybe I'd be happier to have something pretty on them...thanks so much for the inspiration.

  9. One word.... stunning!
More words... soft, elegant, warm, comfy... I think you do white well! And that is a high compliment. Most white themed rooms look stark and unfriendly. Yours is like a dream!!!!! So beautiful.

  13. Answer to Marlis: A painted plywood cover fitting just inside the opening is in process. It will have a decorative handle to make it easy to install and remove.

  27. That's so beautiful! It's snowed already where I'm at, so fall decor ended with Halloween, but I love seeing yours.
