Since the vanilla bean is brown, and the extract as well, it gives a yummy creamy color when mixed with flour, eggs, and sugar. I'm always in search of that quality when I'm looking for various vintage objets. Here's a few things that meet the criteria.
Ironstone with a sheen like vanilla icing.
Yummy mums!
Whipped cream lacy linens.
And piles of creamy creamware!
Thanks for stopping by!
Ciao! for now!

What a yummy blog! I love your white dishes and linens. I am wondering if you use pure or artificial vanilla extract in your baking? I always use pure, even though it costs an arm and a leg. :-) It does taste the best.

I have been buying and acquiring more and more whites and creams. I love my reds and blues and such. But I figure the lighter colors will accentuate the others nicely.
