Treasures & Tips From Blogging Buds

Friends don't let friends drive. . .

past Michael's craft store! Our good blogging buddy, Bella, of Bella's Rose Cottage gifted me with these Treasures by Shabby Chic, and alerted me on where to find more. What are friends for?

Darling little gift enclosures just in time for Easter!

The sweetest thing to happen to me all week! Notes, pads, pens, all in gorgeous Rachel Ashwell designs. I went looking for them at Target, but they're at Michael's instead. (Not my usual haunt.)

I also recently picked up a copy of Coming Home after coming across Alison's (Stuff and Nonsense) post on Rosamunde Pilcher from two years ago! (Well folks, that's about my speed.) Alison says RP is her favorite novelist of all time. I'm not much for contemporary novels, but I'm going to give it a go!

I've been off the blog and not visiting as much lately, and have some catching up to do! Thanks so much for all your oh-so-cheery comments and visits, I'll be getting back to you!

Spring is good here!
I hope it is for you too (OR SOON!).

Jacqueline

Oh how thoughtful of her!

What sweet treasures to make their way to you, Jacqueline!

Yes, been missing you lately. I actually thought of you when I did my Monday post - looks like your colors and you were thought of fondly when I created that simple post.

Hugs.

I LOVE Michaels, but unfortunately the closest one to me is an hour away. The last Michaels I was at had the shabby chic clothespins and flowers on clearance for 30 cents each!!

What great friends to have! I love all the Shabby Chic stationery and I've never read those books but I might just give them a try. I'm also going to have to make a trip to Michael's.

Fabulous Michael's finds! I've seen some of those paper products at Michael's and aren't they so pretty & affordable? Love your stash!
Rosamunde Pilcher has always been one of my fave authors, too. She has some great short stories in 'The Blue Bedroom & Other short stories' collection. Hope you enjoy reading her!

What great finds at Michael's.There is not one too close to us so I cannot drive by when I am in the area, gotta stop!

You have assembled them so prettily, and as for time spent blogging, I love it, but sometimes I have to get off-line and live this wonderful life. Happy Spring to you.

I always find wonderful (and unexpected!) items at Michaels. And our local dollar store has some of the most beautiful notepads, notecards, file folders and gift bags I've ever seen.

Lovely, Jacqueline! I haven't read any of Rosamunde Pilcher's works for some time, but several of her previous books were favorites. I'll look for this one.
Hope you are doing well. ~ Sarah

Michael's is the perfect fun spot for picking up wonderful paper goods! They have a fabulous dollar bin by the front and I could spend tons of time digging through it.

Lovely gifts from a lovely blogger!

Very few people actually use nice stationery anymore. I still love receiving correspondance on paper that soembody has spent time choosing. It make all the difference.
