I was happy to find a few sweet and springy linens just in time for Pink Saturday! I am crazy over vintage rose prints, and this one has a textured fabric and a pink ruffle trim.
Few of us cover our dresser and table tops with runners these days, but I think this fabric would look cheery over a nursery room chair or maybe as a hand towel in the powder room.
I also found a beat up old ironstone basin that has a few cracks, and will be used mainly for display anyway. It's already helping me show off this rosy runner in its best light.
I always feel lucky to get vintage hand towels in pairs. They make such nice gifts that way. These cross-stitch towels were a thrift store find. They make nice napkins too.
I hope your weekend is rosy too! Get lots of sleep because you'll have one less hour before it's all over. Spring forward ya'll!
Jacqueline

ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend!
So dainty. Love the roses.
ReplyDeleteYou always have such pretty linens! I bought an embroidery pattern for redwork pillowcases, since I can't seem to find any vintage sets. You inspired me to look for vintage lace edging to add to them when I'm done. Yesterday I found enough for one and I have plenty of time to look for more, since I haven't started embroidering yet. :@

Been wanting to do this since before Christmas...thanks for the gentle nudge!Keep 'em coming!
