Iron Chairs, Garden Carts, Cement Urns & Wicker

It's the last weekend in February and just guess what's on my mind. Some of you have snow, and others, snowdrops and daffidils. But I can tell the season is early here in New Mexico by the little patch of weeds coming up in my driveway.
 W E E D S !

I'd rather look on the bright side and think about patio furniture instead. I'm not going to make any investment in plants that may need coddling until our last frost date near the end of April. I'll just enjoy what you have to offer from your lush California, Florida, or Aussie garden posts in the meantime.

We're having wonderful warm weather this weekend, and it's time for dusting things off and fixing things up for another all-too-short season in the sun. We still have a windy and changeable few weeks ahead, so an indulgent parade of reminders of the outdoor life soon to come seems in order. I hope you enjoy this sunny Sunday montage of garden inspired goodies. . . .

Enjoy what's left!

Jacqueline

Lovely and you know I have an absolute weakness for large heavy urns and always find them when I am utterly alone.

You have some wonderful pieces. I can never pass up any metal flower holders when I see them.

I've pondered over those wire tiered garden carts at sales before as to what I could use one for. I never thought of using it as an outdoor server! So pretty with your vintage linens.

Our predicted snowstorm has just started this morning. I'm crossing my fingers that I get a "snow day" tomorrow. I could really use an extra day off!

Yeah, I don't miss the weeds!

When I was a kid at home I had one of those white tiered garden carts and attempted to grow house plants. I only did OK, and it hasn't much improved in 40 years!

These were all lovely to see for sure.
You have weeds!!

As I sit here in a blizzard that has been going on all weekend, I wouldn't mind seeing a weed right now.

Your collection is wonderful. I have looked at each photo at least twice and still can't pick a favorite...each is beautiful.
I agree, winter is still far from over. The country usually has a snow storm sometime in April so I guess we will have to be inspired by wonderful photos like yours until it is officially spring weather.

Thanks, Jacqueline! You just gave me a couple of ideas for an upcoming trunk show I'm doing by reminding me of a couple of things I need to pull out of storage and spiff up!

Among the array of many variations of color, it's easy to spot the brightness of white. Love your white! Ready for the hunt!

Love your post. I can't wait for spring to come so I can get out and do some gardening and some painting that I put off last year on a few things on my porch and they are all going to be white.

I think you picked everyone of my favorite outdoor white items. I live in FL and the weather here is glorious and its time to clean off the porch and enjoy the lanai. So thank you for inspiring a little spring cleaning project for me...I think.
