I love Rachel Ashwell's quintessential English cottage style as much as anyone. It's recognizable at a glance. I never make a trip to Target without looking her up.
This past weekend I spotted this simple and charming white bath rug with a crochet edge. Just your basic loveable.
I only picked up and mashed these puffy sculpted towels. They are the most lusciously soft and pink beauties you have ever seen in your life! They have a much richer color than seen above and here on the Target website. Yummy, yummy, yummy!
Beds and baths are where I indulge my Rachel love. I'm going to be adding a lot more ruffles to my life this year!
I love mixing her textiles with my own vintage linens and things. Here are a few of my Rachel inspired colors. . . .
Do you ever see this baby blue and not think Shabby Chic?
Have a great week!
Jacqueline

Your pictures do a great job of capturing her look. She really was an innovator. I went to her store in Manhattan and it was enchanting. I love how livable and comfortable her style is.
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful photos to look at on a yucky Monday morning!

Beautiful pictures as always. I think ruffles are an excellent idea and I might just do the same this year as well! Diane

Funny enough I looked at that darling rug yesterday in Target. I have recently bought four of her older books at Goodwill and am so happy to find them. I think of her Shabby chic stlye often when thrifting. Your vintage linens do mix well with her Target line.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful teaset. Love the embroidery too.

What lovely pictures on such a dreary day! Dreaming about soft chintz, pink china, blue weathered wood, embroidered roses, and lace trimmed linens makes Spring seem not so far away.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'll try to leave a post again. Last 2 times didn't work. This post is, as always, gorgeous. Love the pinks and blues, especially that adorable table! You have no idea how I needed this. We've had so much rain, our vents under the house have flooded. ugh! Your posts are always wonderful treats. Thank you!
