It's my favorite time of the holidays. I haven't been out shopping, so I'm still enjoying the music.
I haven't eaten/drunk too much. . . yet.
I'm still looking forward to "A Christmas Carol" and "It's a Wonderful Life."
I haven't missed anyone, or forgotten anything.
The greens are still fresh.
There's plenty of time for the packages to get there.
I'm still enjoying the decorations.
Possibilities are endless. . .
(I hope this isn't too negative!)
I'm really just trying to wish you a great weekend!
Thanks for stopping by!
Ciao! for now!
The season goes by so quickly ~ I too am trying to pause and linger a little along the way. As always, I enjoy your delightful treasures.
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely Christmas Cup and Saucer! Cute post...so far I agree with you!
ReplyDeleteHi Jacqueline, Wishing you a great weekend back:-) You are so right the beginning, the anticipation... is the best part!

We're hoping to relax some this weekend too!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful dishes. Looking at them calms me right away. I agree with stepping back, taking our time and making this season a beautiful affair. I love all your photos and the Christmas cup is so sweet. Hugs, Deb=^..^=x5
ReplyDeleteSo pretty. Love the Christmas cup. Beautiful. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteYou always sound like you know how to enjoy the simple things. I want to become like that. I'm always rushing, trying to catch up. Raking leaves in the bitter cold before the snow comes tomorrow. I'm going to make that my New Year's resolution ~ to slow down and savor life. Thanks for sharing.

From one Jacqueline to another!! I have no choice but to linger along the way, we are snowed in at the moment. No mail even. Pretty though!! Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteI don't do the Christmas shop in the stores thing. The rare gifts I give, I order online. I like the holidays sweet and simple and quiet. So I pretty much agree too. So do what you like and enjoy the weekend!

ReplyDeleteLove your pretty dishes! Enjoy your weekend, too!

I am still enjoying the season myself and trying not to get into any rushes or panics this year. I have a few lights up and a few ideas I want to try and then I am just going to sit and absorb the lovely ambiance of my and everyone else's decorations! I am really enjoying yours!
