A Simple Gift

Giving vintage is a soulful way to honor the season. Not only is recycling "green", but old things carry with them a character and soul all their own.

Who polished the cherished silver in another life?

What hands carried this jug with such care that it lives on in another century?

Whose initials were these?

Wishing you a few soulful gifts this year--

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Ciao! for now!

  1. I so agree with you! You're giving a piece of history, really. One you may never know the story of. But it's a history nevertheless.

  2. Beautiful post. I always wonder about old pieces myself and who owned them.

  3. You echo my thoughts exactly. Maybe this is why I have such a love of old things. I do wonder sometimes who will have my linens, silver, etc. And who will wonder why this lady never polished her silver!! ;-D
