I sometimes get philosophical on Mother's Day. That's what overthinkers do! I am lucky to have some of my many children visiting from afar this year. But the looking back refers to a visit to former moments from this blog that I have gathered for the occasion, with links.
I share what I was thinking at the time in "Roses For You On Mother's Day" in this one from 2018. Really not so very long ago.
Another, from a little further back in 2013 features viburnum and stocks in "A White Bouquet For Mother's Day."
Titled simply "Happy Mother's Day" from 2012, features a montage of happy thought images on the subject.
,
"Jane's Cottage Garden" is a tribute to my lovely, and now departed, Mother- in- law and her little garden patio.
And finally, "Personal Possessions" brings us full circle to the philosphical with a few thoughts on decorating with things from the heart.
I hope the day is a lovely one for all of you wherever it finds you and your thoughts.
Wishing you all things beautiful,
Jacqueline
Happy Mothers Day to you, too!

If my mother was here to see it, she would be in as much love with this post as I am. Exquisite -- each photo, each remembrance.
ReplyDeleteJacqueline, I enjoyed looking back to some of your posts that came before I had started blogging. You always do such a beautiful job of putting everything together with your words and pictures. I hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day with your family. We just talked on the phone but I can't wait to tell about my fantastic gift from my daughter and SIL on Tuesday..xxoJudy
