Cottage Season

"Cottage is the plumper, friendlier first cousin of the more fine-lined, pure country style.

It puts comfort at a premium. Lush and layered . . . cottage style greets like a soft smile and a warm hug at the end of a cold, hard, day."
quote from Country Home, Fall 2010

Wishing you the Comforts of Cottage on this first October Sunday of the season.
Thanks for popping by! Ciao! for now!

  2. I always enjoy seeing your brown transfer ware. I'm a new blogger and your "Sideboard Redo" was one of the first blogs I read. It so inspired me that I started collecting brown transfer ware too. I have 3 pieces so far I found at yard sales. At a recent huge flea market I found every color except brown. I didn't know it was so hard to find, but that makes the hunt all the more a challenge.

  5. I see that you quoted Country Home 2010 in your post today. Are you referring to the magazine? I thought they went out of business last year. I loved it and hated to see it disappear. Are they back?
