Summer Breeze Table

We're reaching one hundred degrees this week in Albuquerque so the table calls for something cool. I wanted blue, but slid naturally into a bit of red transfer-ware too.
Evenings cool off in our dry climate, so all you have to do is find a spot of shade.
Everything here is vintage from the glassware to the linens.
Dinner plates are from Taylor Smith Taylor, and butter plates are "Bramble" by Wedgewood.
Toss in the ubiquitous seashells and you think you're getting an ocean breeze.
The versatile sand dollar as napkin ring.
Embossed plates really ring my chimes.
These small works of art are all about detail.
Thistle pattern cut glass wine glasses...
with vintage pressed glass decanter.
The more mixed up the better.

Hand crochet lace layered over an inexpensive machine worked quilt.
A patch of blue over the underskirts.
And finally a vintage drawn work runner to top it all off.
Seeing stars.

A diminutive chair as place card holder. I use clear glass sugar and creamers outside as "hurricanes" for tea lights.
Ciao for now! Thanks so much for stopping by!
I hope you'll check in at Between Naps on the Porch for more Tablescape Thursday!

What a beautiful table you have set! The raised rose detailing on the transferware is gorgeous! You have a great eye for the details:-)
Your weather is so hot already! We are stuck in an early spring pattern and havent dried out for two days in a row for a long time. My Grandparents lived in New Mexico, a wonderful place for evening in the garden, a warm breeze, and the biggest sky!
