The Portuguese Trader--our name for our vintage Shasta trailer-- is being taken out for a spin in the mountains for a couple days.
I'm just making sure that I have all the essentials. Double checking for batteries, matches, and pretty BOOKS!
Lots of pillows and linens to match. No reason not to have the comforts of home. Vintage towels, aprons, and pails add to the country feel of our little cabin on wheels.
I hope no one forgot the can opener or T.P.! But I know I have everything else I need right here!
Hope your having a fabulous vintage summer too!
Ciao! for now! Thanks for stopping by!

ReplyDeleteLook how cozy you have made your home on wheels. Too cute.
ReplyDeleteso cozy... i can snuggle into those pillows and stay in the whole day! Very beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteOh, my gosh! This is just too cute! We have a motor home, and your trailer has way more personality than our rv! I adore your pillows, they are just gorgeous! Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI love what you have done with your travel trailer. We also have a vintage trailer that we have been renovating over the past month or so. We are almost there and will be taking "Miss Betty" on her first trip to the mountains in a week. I am always interested in seeing what others have done to their vintage trailers. My husband has been very understanding in regards to my need to make the trailer something that I feel comfortable in. Translation.........he lets me use lots of girly stuff and he doesn't complain. I will be posting my pictures in a day or so. Enjoy your little precious home away from home and your vacation. Happy trails!
ReplyDeleteThis is really wonderful, Jacqueline! So restful with your great books! Looks like fun!
ReplyDeleteIt looks so cozy and comfortable with all those beautiful pillows. The mug is really cute.
ReplyDeleteOh how cool! Have a great trip, you have created such a cozy nest!

Who says a trailer can't be cute and homey? Looks like just the right amount of "girlie necessities" to me!! Have fun, Julie
ReplyDeleteI can remember camping trips as a child in a Prowler. I just love the cottage spin you've put on your Shasta. You'd never get me out of it. Great job.

Just wanted to let you know I'm following, and I just linked to your blog on my latest post. I'm so happy with my carnival glass bowl-- thanks a million! The blog looks great!
ReplyDeleteVery nice and homey, enjoy your travels. XO MARY

I love vintage campers. I have a pink 1972 smokey that I've totally redone! It's such fun!
ReplyDeleteHow utterly charming! And so very you!!
ReplyDeleteThis is the best way to go camping. Kelly is coming for a visit and we are all going camping in pretty primitive cabins! Not nearly as cozy as your trailer. But I'm so happy that we're finally having sun and warmth, that it will be cozy enough!
Have a wonderful time!
Love,
Kay
