Cottage Season

"Cottage is the plumper, friendlier first cousin of the more fine-lined, pure country style.

It puts comfort at a premium. Lush and layered . . . cottage style greets like a soft smile and a warm hug at the end of a cold, hard, day."
quote from Country Home, Fall 2010

Wishing you the Comforts of Cottage on this first October Sunday of the season.
Thanks for popping by! Ciao! for now!

I'm linking up with The Tablescaper for Seasonal Sundays!

I always enjoy seeing your brown transfer ware. I'm a new blogger and your "Sideboard Redo" was one of the first blogs I read. It so inspired me that I started collecting brown transfer ware too. I have 3 pieces so far I found at yard sales. At a recent huge flea market I found every color except brown. I didn't know it was so hard to find, but that makes the hunt all the more a challenge.

I see that you quoted Country Home 2010 in your post today. Are you referring to the magazine? I thought they went out of business last year. I loved it and hated to see it disappear. Are they back?
