Hello again! I have been just a little absent lately with my blogging machine in for a tune up, but we are both back in the action again just in time for the time change and daylight savings! It seems like a good time to switch out the quilts for something lighter too.
The early light was just too perfect to miss showing you the new vintage cover on the bed with its wonderful texture. I have several of these, but I still snap them up whenever I find them at a great price. Some of the older ones are beginning to wear thin with use, but that's because they are a staple in my linen closet.
That book on the bed is the brand new "Patina Farm," by Brooke & Steve Giannetti. You may be familiar with their last one "Patina Style." You will want this book! I found it heart pounding, with a thrill on every single page. But then, I just love breathtaking beauty in a French farmhouse setting. What can I say? Inspiring in spades.
Just thought you should know. . . .
Happy Sunday!
Have a great week!
Jacqueline
What a lovely coverlet! I will have to find the book as it looks charming! Last week I attended an auction and was the lucky bidder of 10 hard cover decorating books for $20.00.
ReplyDeleteSome Shabby Chic and some Shabby French...I am still drooling over them. Have a great week ahead!
Jacqueline,
ReplyDeleteSuch tranquility in your Sunday Morning bedding, dear friend!
The time change, combined with the gentle Spring shower,
made perfect "mates" for an afternoon nap!
Thank you for featuring pages from Patina Farm.
I'll look for it at my Barnes and Nobles, next trip!
Fondly,
Pat
I love the beautiful vintage look of your bedroom. xoxo Su

I love old chenille bedspreads and have a couple of them here but don't use them. One is turquoise!! We had them on our beds growing up - white with pastel flowers and swirls. The book looks lovely.

ReplyDeleteJacqueline,
ReplyDeletePatina Farm is now on my wish list for books. Every photo you showed is just beautiful. If only my house could look as uncluttered and serene while still being decorated.
