Fresh, soft, bright, light. That's what spring means to me.
The willows are showing a leafy green. They're always the first to start. Cheery blossoms decorate the neighborhood.
The light has changed.
Early spring has a softness found no other time in the year. . . .
Who can help but celebrate?
Happy Spring days ahead!

Your pictures of fresh Spring is so dreamy , as you say the light is brighter & longer making us all feel so much happier. Even though we didn't have snow and a severe winter, I'm happy to see Spring. Love all your pictures.
ReplyDeleteHappy week-end .
You really captured spring in this post. Our snow is gone and I finally see that spring is not far off now.
ReplyDeleteI have been captivated by the soft light in my own cottage too. The last photos of the light on your roses is like a lullaby.
ReplyDeleteThat is such a pretty post! I love it- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Photos!
ReplyDeleteAnother beautiful post! Today was gorgeous, so hoping that the weekend follows the pattern. I'm ready to garden!
ReplyDeleteOh the sweet butterfly embroidery, all such pretty photos
ReplyDeleteAll of your photos are so beautiful, but the closeup of the nest really speaks to me. This post truly captures how spring is arriving here in CT - very slowly with small signs that it is trying to make its appearance (even with a foot of snow still covering my gardens).
ReplyDeleteSoooooo beautiful.

Jacqueline, I have been embracing the onset of spring, it youth in growth and the cleaning and tweeting about the house that always seams to take place about this time of year.
ReplyDeleteI love your photos it's feels a bit different but very much you. My favorite photo is of the dark cabinet with the iron-stoneware a top it. I am looking for a couple of very dark pieces to anchor my home, I want to add some depth as you have that soulfully speaks to us all I am sure of that.
May the grace and growth of spring inspire.
Xoxo
Thank you beautiful for making time to visit me and always adding your special comment.

Jacqueline,
ReplyDeleteEarly Spring, with its softness, beckons this indoors lady to come out~of~doors and soak up the Sun!!! I've been enjoying my time sipping Afternoon Tea on the back deck!!! This post is a gentle invitation to bring out some soft linens to add to the tables!!!
Fondly,
Pat
Jacqueline, such a pretty and light touch of spring, just as it should be. Our willows are all sprouting too and look so pretty, but I'm sad that I missed the pussy-willows when they were out. We have been having such great weather that they came and went right before our very eyes..Happy Wednesday..Judy
