The Scaffold of Morning

This is often where I blog and have coffee in the early hours. The bottom rung of the day. The light projection made me think of a skeleton the first time I saw it. But I like thinking of it as the ladder I climb after making plans for the day.

    Good Morning!
    Love the ladder of light -- there is nothing like the first light of morning, is there? My husband and I meet over coffee in our sometimes too-sunny sunroom each morning, before going our separate ways for the day.
    But my favorite morning light?
    That's the light at our beach house, where the sun slides in through the big front windows and dances, with the ripples of Peconic Bay, on the walls. It's mesmerizing; good thing a beach house is a place where you CAN just sit and watch the light dance on your walls!
