I might as well face what a bad case of spring fever I have going on. All I want to do is sit in the sun and look at my herbs and flowers.
But it's not really a day off. So I can't linger in the lilacs all that long.
The sun is so strong in New Mexico, and today it reminds me of being five again and falling asleep in a sunny window of the play house.
But it can't be a lazy day for me. And it's probably back to business for you too...
So have a great week!
Ciao! for now!

ReplyDeleteone of my favorite plants to have in the garden. mine are already gone and only green remains. such a pity they last only two or three weeks in the season but well worth it.
ReplyDeleteJacqueline,
ReplyDeleteYou have traveled to some wonderful locals. How neat. Traveling is a wonderful way to get more insight into any culture. Thanks for stopping by. I planted lilacs last year and they are blooming baby lilacs. Beautiful pictures!

Beautiful lilacs. The only thing blooming here are daffodils. Oh yes the trees with all the pollen that makes everyone sick. Beautiful photo's and dreaming of having lilacs in our area. ~~Sherry~~
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful! We're still freezing and lilacs aren't near blooming! Thank goodness for my daffodils! They're little troopers, surving the beating the rains are giving them!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week and send some of that warm sun up this way!
Love, Kay

Beautiful flower. It's one of my favourite flowers (after roses). I love roses (any type of rose). We have so much in common. You are a true kindred spirit!
ReplyDeleteWhile I would prefer falling asleep in a sunny room in a playhouse...my real house keeps saying "Clean Me!".
