I use baskets for everything. But they all just seem made for flowers.
I thought I wanted pink roses today. But I like showing up and seeing what looks best.
Today it was this variety leaning quite a bit beyond cream to a pale yellow.
The linen lining shows off the mesh wire and makes for a more exciting arrangement.
I love garden style, and can't get enough metal urns, tables, and old gates to decorated with.
Add a few flowers, and you have the perfect recipe for cheer!
I hope you're getting a good dose of garden style too! If not, be sure to visit Faded Charm for White Wednesday! There's always plenty over there!
Ciao! for now!

The basket is humble enough to show off the fabulous roses and I love baskets. Baskets are so so functional. I cannot carry urns around! But I do love an urn.

ReplyDeleteSo beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love white roses as well as the palest of pink ones too! Oh and yellow ones once in a while as well!
These roses have such a beautiful colour..your garden reminded me of a line from The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett.."The sun shone down for nearly a week on the secret garden. The Secret Garden was what Mary called it when she was thinking of it. She liked the name, and she liked still more the feeling that when its beautiful old walls shut her in, no one knew where she was". I'd like to imagine you being lost in your own little secret garden.
ReplyDeleteJacqueline, I love your whites, I think white roses are my favorites, so innocently sweet.
