My Favorite Teacup

My favorite teacup is an oversize antique transferware beauty from France.

I mostly drink hot cocoa from it in winter.

But summertime is the finest to show off its vines and blooms.

It has a few age spots and small flaws, and I always give it the care its age deserves.

But I really just like to have it nearby.

It doesn't spend time harbored away in a china closet.

It stays front and center in the kitchen where I think it likes to know what's going on.

It is an international traveler after all.

I'm crazy for old marks on china.

Ma petit "Royat" is enjoying her foray into the sunshine on Tea Cup Tuesday.

Do give them a visit and see many more beautiful tea cups!

Hello Jacqueline, A very lovely French cup! I myself am really not a tea drinker, I much prefer hot chocolate. But then I like ALMOST anything chocolate :)

Wishing you a lovely Teacup Tuesday Day!

Warmest, Brenda

Lovely teacup. I had to enlarge the pictures just to see all of the exquisite detail. I can see why you love it so much. I also like your tablescape. The seashells look so nice on that cake stand. Take care.
