There's something about lacy white on the lawn to transport me to the tropics or some Victorian movie scene. It's definitely out of the ordinary at any rate.
Sturdy wicker from the thirties is a major player on this stage. (It's actually Lloyd Loom, constructed of paper covered wire.) New wicker just isn't the same.
If there's a doubt about its age, it's written plainly on the underside. And I don't give a fig about it's obvious flaws.
A couple of soft cushions makes it respectable to sit on. Even for company. And there's nothing more perfect than white for summer.
Vintage linens add to the romance. But when DON'T they? Lawn tennis anyone?
Nothing cheerier than being at home with white! All of our lawn parties should have this look!
