People were wiser younger in a former time. The reflection of that is found in vintage photos, and is part of the appeal for me.
Picture taking was once a special occasion, and most often, a happy one.
The early portraits are all so sober, but get into the Brownie camera era and it's all about fun. And who doesn't imagine stories to go along with the photo? This pair of shots were found together, and I'm keeping them that way and making them about LOVE. The oldest story ever told.
There were letters.
And romantic music.
"If music be the food of love, play on . . ."
Shakespeare, Twelfth Night, Act 1
Vintage things are so full of that music of romance.
Now I'm off to hear your stories.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Ciao! for now!
