Tea Blossom Tablescape


 My German bone china tea set seems made for this time of year. I've never paired it with the vintage spring blossom tablecloth that I'm using today. I just gathered up some pink themed linens and had a happy accident. 





 This weekend is the official summer season kickoff. Isn't it exciting?




My tea set includes the pot, creamer, sugar, cups and saucers, and dessert plates. I tend to be so "mix and match" that a whole set of anything feels kind of funny. 





 The cotton tablecloth is vintage as are the tea napkins. There is the merest hint of pink along the hem design in the pattern.





The whole scene makes me feel all storybook time!

    Love that tea set.. it's so beautiful. The quilt on the chair is quite special too, did you make that? love the napkins and the silver just makes my heart sing. So soothing and enjoyable. Beautiful. xo~marlis

    Oh, the tablecloth is just perfect with the dishes! What a dreamy setting here in the shade! If Alice had happened upon this she wouldn't have left. Gorgeous!

    I would love to have tea at your charming table! The antique German tea set is beautiful (looks like apple blossoms?), and I am in love with that tablecloth. I love dogwood blossoms -- the dogwood is our state tree in N.C. Your napkins and silver are so elegant, and the quilt on your chair blends beautifully! I love the glimpse of your backyard in the photos; it looks like such a nice place to relax. Thanks for sharing.
