Like a new baby in the family, just one new addition can make a big difference. Even if it's something small.
My something new and small is an English ironstone teapot. Suddenly the complementary pieces I've had put away come to mind, and I have to go on a short hunt for them.
My small white Royal Albert creamer and sugar get a new companion to hang out with after my recent mini road trip south.
Though they are bone china, they'll do the trick.
I look for ironstone wherever I go. Especially unlikely spots. Because I know if I do chance upon a piece it will probably be a good price.
Enter one white, wheat pattern, Royal Staffordshire teapot requiring no dickering with the dealer! Such a small price to pay for happiness. . . .
Hope you're having a fine china day too!
Ciao! for now!
