We're beating the California heat by ducking into a lot of air conditioned shops and restaurants. But we never need such a flimsy excuse to visit a fantastic shop like the Antiques Center Mall in Santa Barbara, one of our favorite stops when we are in this neighborhood.
Just check out the lovely brown transferware in one of my favorite booths!
Always full of many of my favorite things.
I love this pleasing display with lots of intersesting silver pieces, right down to that fabulous candy mold underneath.
Oh yum! to these delicious hollow handled knives!
. . . and creamy white bisque pitchers.
How could I walk past this gorgeous hand crochet bedpread without taking an admiring look?
Love this look too!
The perfect chippy iron piece for fall!
Seeing this fun Frenchy booth made me realize that I have vastly inder-represented pumkins in my shop!
So many adorable garden themed ideas! Can't wait to get back home and try some out!
Fall never looked so good!
Thanks so much for tagging along!
Now I'm off for a little beach action!

ReplyDeleteI live very close to this store and I always enjoy my visits. I cannot believe this heat wave - 100+ temps are extremely rare in Santa Barbara. I hope you enjoy your time at the beach in this great town!

ReplyDeleteHi Jacqueline, Love this post and the pretties you are sharing from your trip. I was so excited to see your post in my inbox once again. For so long they have stopped coming from follow by email. I am sure blogger glitching is the reason. LOL
ReplyDeleteI am going next week for a trip to the Hill Country and hoping to find some treasures.
Enjoy and have fun.
Hugs
ReplyDeleteOh I like the display also of all the small silver items and the staffordshire dog.
That iron piece with the acorns on it well I have those pieces on my front porch, my house is old 1958 and they are original . I have been ask if I want to redo and make it modern however have choose to leave the old white painted iron posts
I would have needed a large truck to bring everything home with me. Thanks so much for sharing!

As close as I live to SB, I do not know this spot - maybe that's a good thing.
ReplyDeleteOh, what wonderful things you showed us. And I got some ideas for decorating with pumpkins. It is a little cooler today and we might visit the pumpkin patch.
