Time For Pretty Little Things

I love the tinkling song of fine old china. But also the cheery tones of platters clanking in cafes. I like stealing away for lunch or coffee better than dinner. And unwrapped gifts. Small occasions are always much better than big ones. And it's nice when there's enough time to just sit and watch the sparrows carry crumbs away. . . .

Hope you can fit in a birdy minute or two this week!
Toodle-oo!

Your cream soup cup is gorgeous - is it Nippon by chance? Looks like it may be.

  4. Oooo, how so very lovely! I would rather go for coffee or lunch myself. And I love to hear platters clanking in cafes. I do miss going to the organic cafe shop for my morning coffees after walking my little dog in Naples, Florida. This post reminds me of that. Sigh.

  12. Lovely photos, Jacqueline! So cheery on this grey, snow-clogged day. I love sitting in cafes and watching sparrows take up the crumbs. Some of them are so used to it, they're nearly tame!
