Flirting in French

It's time for a few small changes to my sitting room. I've always loved French country style, but I have never been able to manage a simple enough look for very long. Too many accessories creep in. SO I'm ready to give it another go!

I don't have an authentic French boutis yet, so I have draped a colorful quilt in a similar style over my sofa in the French country tradition.

I have a simple wood antique folding table that is always standing by in my dining room. It adjusts to two different heights. Here I have layered it in white linen.

I'm always looking for ways to use my fine linens, and I never have to look too far.

Linen on a coffee table makes it ready for tea or drinks at the drop of a hat!

Of course I always have my favorite books nearby, and a few other items of interest.

This room is where I draw the line with accessories in order to reduce clutter and get the spare look that I want. At least on the table top! Have a look. . . .

Thanks for stopping by for a peek!
Hope you have a great week!
Ciao! for now! (I mean Au Revoir!)
