I'm honored to have been featured over at Shabby Tea Party! BettyJean is starting a fun new linky party for the holiday season to show off our Best Dressed Gift Packaging! Hop on over for the details. It starts right away!
My vintage mug style tea cup has no mark, but looks French to me! I've paired it with an orphaned saucer.
The wrapping always begins before Thanksgiving for sending on packages with visiting family.
And then it goes on sometimes past midnight on Christmas Eve!
May as well make yourself comfortable, and well fortified!
I hope the fun has started for you!
Hope your holiday week goes well!
Ciao! for now!
Jacqueline

Your mug is so pretty and so is the packages. What a beautiful post.
ReplyDeleteOh those pretty packages are sooo lovely! Thank you for the heads up on the party too! This surely gets me in the mood to decorate for the season...now if only I could do things in advance vs. waiting for the last minute! :)

The package with the lace is beautiful! Yeah, this is one party I won't be attending. Or at least not to be a participant. I'm a terrible package wrapper. I'm so bad, my daughter took over when she was 12. Now *her* wrapping is wonderful. Creative, pretty. Mine still stinks and since she's one her own now everybody knows when a gift is from me. LOL
ReplyDeleteBeautiful present. Just love the pillow.

ReplyDeleteYour blog is just so beautiful, from the moment I click through to it right to the end - all the gorgeous pictures of the gorgeous things. Love your teacup and so glad that orphaned saucer found a home :) Your packages are gorgeous!!! I'd love to get a box like that, and no I wouldn't open it, just sit and look at it forever. Thanks for sharing all the beauty with us lucky readers.

ReplyDeleteThat tea cup is full of style I must say. You do wrap the pretty package.
ReplyDeleteJacqueline, your tea cup is gorgeous and looks like a perfect fit to the oprhaned saucer. Your packages looks stunning. Presentation is everything! ;-)
ReplyDeleteSmart to start at Thanksgiving and send them home with visitors rather than having to mail them.
Happy Holidays, my friend! ~ sarah

ReplyDeleteGorgeous mug! I pray that you have a safe and warm Thanksgivings, doing what you want to do, enjoying the time! Your packages are the greatest! I can just imagine the smiles of those on the receiving end. Me, I'd sit and admire the package for hours.. xo marlis
ReplyDeleteI would have bought those wonderful thick linens, too. I don't ever find nice ones like that here. Love all your vintage goods and that apron is beautiful. I hope you have the best Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteWrapping gifts is not something I do well, I have good intentions but lack creativity.
ReplyDeleteYou have shown some very pretty packages and the tea cup would be a delight to sip from.
The embroidered pillow is so lovely in the background, pretty vignettes!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful present - I love the little rose you added. It makes the parcel look so romantic :)

That present look so pretty with the lace on it. Very inspiring. I start out making very pretty presents but by the time christmas gets here, I am rushing around and slapping on the paper!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful packages. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!
