I didn't get the serendipity of glads and tutus until this morning. Picking up supplies for Granny Camp included gladiolas, a summer favorite, and a few tutus. But until I started to snap some shots, it didn't occur to me how similar they are.
It's always nice to have ruffles around whatever form they take.
I'm still a little bleary eyed. Getting ready meant a late night, and an early morning, with more of that sort of thing to come for a few days.
But we're pretty much a go. The popcicles are on ice, and there are plenty of bananas and strawberries to go around! A pile of good reading, and the water hose is primed and ready. . . .
A Happy PINK SATURDAY to you too!
Ciao! for now!

ReplyDeleteHi Jacqueline,
ReplyDeleteI tried to leave a comment here last week, but Blogger was not cooperating, so I'm trying again. This is such a sweet post. I never realized how similar are the "ruffles" of the pink glads to those of pink tutus. What great photos. Thanks for sharing!
