I'm thinking about this year's Christmas table and taking inspiration from my tables past.
I may be ready for more holly if I can find some.
Old Christmas cards make great place cards.
An old quilt makes a wonderful warm statement placed underneath,
Plenty of ideas to choose from. . . .
From a Christmas morning brunch. . . to a dinner by firelight!
So many ways to delight!
Should I go for a calmer color palette?
Or go traditional?
One of my all time favorites!
It'll be a big weekend for parties and gatherings. . .
I'm ready for all the goodies!
How about you?
I hope it is a wonderfully festive week coming up for you!
Kids will be out of school, and we have family starting to arrive on the weekend.
Getting so excited!
Happy Holidays to you!
Jacqueline

ReplyDeleteLove all your place settings, but I would choose the red & white. How lovely the red/white quilt looks over some of your beautiful linen.

ReplyDeleteSo many wonderful settings - it would be hard to choose! I love the quilt with lacy underlay and the vintage cards for place markers are a lovely idea. Your tree is so beautiful! I hope you and your family have a wonderful and blessed Christmas, my dear! Hugs xo Karen

Now this inspires me to think about my Christmas morning table. I hadn't given it a thought yet. Thanks! Yours are all beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! Love the sparkle and mix of patterns.
ReplyDeleteYou won't lose no matter which you choose! As for me, I'd go with the traditional -- love the holly but more to the point, if you can't do it now, when can you do it? And some of the others will transition well into other times and occasions. But that's just me. Like I said, you cannot go wrong!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the quilts on the table, they are very charming! Of course, each of the settings you shared are gorgeous! Whatever you chose will be beautiful, I'm sure! Blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteGreat photos, all full of wonderful atmosphere that we have come to expect from you! I vote for the stag plate ensemble but it is a difficult choice.
ReplyDeleteRegards and best wishes for a Merry Christmas for you and your family.

Jacqueline, I so love a beautifully laid table! How can one choose?
ReplyDeleteJacqueline,
ReplyDeleteI just love all your brown transferware. The sugar keep with the cow is so adorable and the bird sugar bowl too.
Love all your beautiful treasures. May you have a wonderful week leading up to the big day. Enjoy.
Merry Christmas.

Every morning, with cup of coffee in hand, I sit down with my computer and quickly go through my e-mails. Once I have tended to "business" I snuggle in to open your daily blog. We are so similar in our tastes that I have to wonder if we are twins, separated at birth. There is one major difference however - you love the desert and I love four seasons. If ever I find myself in your area I will definitely stop by Je L'Adore to marvel in the beauty of your booth.
ReplyDeleteIt all looks so lovely and like it stepped right out of a magazine! Bravo, well done!
ReplyDeleteJacqueline, your posts are always so beautiful but especially at Christmas time. Your colors seem to be so soft and I wish I had known you needed holly, I would have sent you some. Remember next year! All of the place settings are wonderful and any guest at your table should feel so fortunate..Merry Christmas..Judy
