Through the looking glass. Down the rabbit hole. Disneyland. New York City is all of these. Except the magic is for grown-ups. And it's for real.
Always exciting, day or night. Dazzling at Christmas.
Our first day we spend walking down Fifth Avenue without a plan until darkness. Window shopping and people watching. This is our first visit to the Big Apple during the holidays. Every Christmas movie I've ever seen set in NYC dances in my head.
Each window has a venetian mirror frame. So we are literally peering "through the looking glass."
I carefully coreographed all the spectators wearing black for this shot. (*wink*wink)
I hope your Christmas is magical!
Ciao! for now!

ReplyDelete:D, I recognize the black clothing, its real folks, the people do wear mostly black as did I when I lived there. I grew up and played in New York. I got rid of my blacks when I moved to sunny Florida and went rainbow :D It is however, most gorgeous, unbelievably magical on 5th Ave for Xmas especially at night. All other times its ...let's just say, its not. Visiting of course is always interesting. Great pics!
