You may wonder what these blossoms are. I do too. But only because I thought I might be asked.
I inherited this delightfully spring blossoming bush with the house, and have enjoyed its cheery presence ever since. It blooms just before the lilacs, and makes a stunning show for all too brief a time.
Its mystery deepens with the twilight. Its tiny petals strewn upon the paving stones below.
We've had a delicious and calm spring afternoon. The kind where you survey the grounds, pluck a twig or two, and can't believe your good fortune.
It's only right that it's shared with someone. . . . I'm glad it could be you.
Thanks for stopping by!
Ciao! for now!

Lovely blooms, I don't know what they are though. Your pics are always beautiful! Happy Wednesday:@)
ReplyDeleteYour branches look like flowering almond, an ornamental shrub. Very pretty in the concrete urn.

I'm not quite sure what it is, J. Sure is pretty and feminine though.

Hello,
ReplyDeletebeautiful and so delicate!
A beautiful day.
Beautiful blossoms, they look like flowering almond to me, I have two and they are so pretty - one of the first to show in the garden. I love spring! May all your flowers bloom, Terri :O)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I also think they are flowering almond.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy!
Carolyn
Those blossoms are so pretty. I love their soft pink color. Gorgeous photos!
ReplyDeleteWe love them here in Georgia. In Macon, Ga. they have 300,000 cherry blossoms trees. More than Washington D.C. Your urn is perfect with them. ♥O
