Small Pink World

One of the reasons I like blogging is the focus it requires.

We all have our random thoughts, but when you stop to think,"What will I capture today, and what will I say?", the thought moves to the realm of idea and purpose. Or not.

Sometimes it just flows, and other times you have to stop the busy world, find a quiet place, and let it happen.

A mindful life enriches the world.

That's what posting does for me. It's a sort of active meditation. Connecting thoughts to things.

It is a physical world after all. And sometimes a very small one.
My quiet place today is in the nursery.

These are views of the nursery guestroom window. There is usually a small empty bench here because the trundle bed pulls out and it's easy to whisk the bench away when the bed is needed. But I have just had a series of little guests, and I wanted a change while the room is less busy.

The change of season has altered the light coming in through the sheers. It seems the perfect time to show off a few bottles with some back lighting.

The light through the baby gown, and the tiny tea set keep me in anticipation of the next sweet visit!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Ciao! for now!

Jacqueline

  11. Wow,
I just signed up as your newest follower. Reading thru your blog posts was pure delight! You have such a talent for display. I love your beautiful fall tablescape with the wool cloth. Is the RL wool a coverlet or acutally a tablecloth? Fall is my favorite time of year becuase I dress up my whites with all of my brown transferware as well. I've been searching for a piece from the Asthetic movement for ages that I could afford. Still searching LOL. I'll be back soon. Lisa

  15. Oh, Jacqueline, that sun shining through the window through those pretty sheer curtains and that sweet, sweet baby dress---just soooo beautiful. Love the bunnies and the china gleaming in the sunlight. We're pouring rain and so dark, it's a cave! Thanks for the lovely reprieve! Love, Kay
