Hi there! Just popping in to say hello. I thought I would show you how my Christmas corner is shaping up. Our decorating always happens gradually. A bit here and a bit there. But I always have a corner of my living room that gets a little more focus.
I have the suggestion of a winter forest in the corner this year with the addition of a lighted twiggy tree.
So far the top of my cupboard has not changed. All in due time, I hope!
My corner always includes a few toys. I found a new little vintage white bench a couple of weeks ago to set things on.
I found thisl hand sewn Pooh bear a few years ago that has become a treasure. He is made of flannel, now worn thin. His eyes made of thread are starting to go too. But he has been loved and cared for and was all nice and clean when I discovered him at the flea market.
A little snowy village sits on the lamp table for now, where we can see it close up.
I hope you are enjoying the process! This is the best part of the season for me.
So nice to have a visit from you!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Jacqueline
Everything looks calm and bright, Jacqueline. The little houses are adorable. Deb
ReplyDeleteOh twinkle lights are always a good idea!
ReplyDeleteThis corner of your room looks so pretty. I like the twiggy tree and the Putz houses. I'm sure you'll add more as the days go by. Have a lovely week.
ReplyDeleteWhat a peaceful, magical Christmas corner. I love the precious bear and the trees. So pretty.
ReplyDeletehugs and Merry Christmas Jacqueline.

Your designs are always so soft and pretty. The pooh bear is so loveable. The little houses are so sweet- and I love the birch base snow globe. Wishing you a beautiful Christmas!
ReplyDeleteOh beautiful Jacqueline. This is how I imagine Christmas in Heaven! Just so beautiful and serene and peaceful.
ReplyDeleteHappy Holidays.
Kris
Your corner looks so calming --- I love your aesthetic! In contrast, our house is a riot of color during December, in which I also find joy! Hope you enjoy the month -- hopefully some snow here tonight! Sally
ReplyDeleteLove when its bits and pieces and evolves. We never decorated until after a youngster had a birthday on the 13th, except outside. So this lovely winter vignette, certainly appeals to me, here. As I am dragging my feet on the holiday decorating. Grins, and thanks for the beautiful inspirations, Sandi
ReplyDeleteThis is so enchanting, Jacqueline. It looks as though I have stepped into a fairyland. I expect Tinkerbell or the Snow Queen to come around the corner! I love it.
ReplyDeleteIsn't this the best? I'm so enjoying seeing people's decorations and doing my own. I wish it could stay like this a long while!
Love the twiggy tree. Nice little setting.
ReplyDeleteJacqueline, you have captured a beautiful peaceful corner for Christmas. Love your Pooh bear
ReplyDeleteCindy
I really like the trees with no ornaments on them.
ReplyDeletelove the pooh bear also
I am still trying to get decorations out
only if I could stay home one day I would get it done
Oh, the Pooh bear is adorable! I love your twiggy tree, but I really love the white tree with just the lights. I first glance I thought it was made of feathers. I love how narrow it is. No decorating at my house unless you count blue tape and ladders! Dianne
ReplyDeleteIt looks beautiful...so cozy!
ReplyDeleteCarolyn
Love your beginnings of a snowy white day with the tree and the little village, and oh yes, that much loved bear.
ReplyDeleteYour white pooh is just adorable! What a fun corner! It is just icy and wintery and inviting!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty and bright, but calm and cozy too! LOVE the Pooh Bear!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing at Home Sweet Home!
