Maybe I'll make paper valentines. Maybe not. But I like paper hearts just strewn on the table. And wouldn't they be sweet with a pink iced heart cookie served on top?
I've gotten out a few lacy napkins and my lacy Wedgewood china too. It all just spells out LOVE to me. . . .
I hope you're finding some cozy in your winter day!

ReplyDeleteI just found my pretty! Lovely photos of a lovely table. I think that Wedgewood is one of the prettiest white china patterns. And I also still like paper lace hearts. It has been foggy and very mild here today so our snow is melting and the water is running over the frozen ground and filling the ditches. The driveway is a sheet of ice too. Thanks for brightening my afternoon. :)
ReplyDeletePre-tea!
ReplyDeleteI just made a fellow bloggers cookie recipe, I'll bring mine over and we'll share mine and yours over tea.
~Bliss~
Very beautiful.

The Wedgewood is so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteMy husband fell hard for Beignets when he was working in New Orleans on a film. I don't know if I've ever had one!

Oh, wow...it has been years since I've had a beignet! That was the main reason for my wanting to go to New Orleans on my honeymoon! Lazy mornings (and sometimes early afternoons!) at Cafe du Monde...can't beat it with a stick! I know they would taste even better (if that's possible) served on these incredibly beautiful dishes!!! I love the design! It reminds me of everything feminine and delicate and gentle and beautiful. Just gorgeous!!!
