Birdcages are standard issue for romantic decor and do their job just sitting idly by. But there are so many ways of dressing them up.
I've just lit mine from inside and transformed this quiet corner into a fanciful winter palace for the imagination.
The reflected lights suggest the sparkle of a twinkling snow globe.
Soft Christmas music, carefully chosen. A scented candle. Twinkle lights. Dreamy. . . . The music is the element which finally sends a thrilling Christmas chill up my spine, and I've got that fleeting magic happening for a little while. We should conjur it up at least once in the season no matter what happens, shouldn't we? . . .
I hope you get that music going too! Big weekend ahead!
Enjoy the Season. . . .
Ciao! for now!

So very pretty and full of atmosphere. Right now I have a hutch sitting in the middle of my living room, but as soon as I'm done painting it, I'm going to create a little Christmas atmosphere of my own. You've inspired me as usual.
