We all have roots in Farmhouse style if we go back far enough in the family tree. Maybe that's one of its irresistible attractions. And never more, for me, than at the gathering time of year.
Here in the very heart of the season lies the comfort of home. Especially of food and family, and our collected possessions. Everything that says "this is where you belong".
I always seem to want to spend more time at home this time of year. But there's still too much of the week left for total relaxation. Miles to go. . . . But a little farmhouse mood will get me through the rest of the week.
I hope you're getting a little farmhouse feeling wherever you are!
Ciao! for now!

Mmmmm.....I just love the creamy stoneware pitchers and lovely linens! It makes me pine for an old farmhouse like my grandparent's.
ReplyDeleteI love the tea leaf patterned plates. I have a very old teapot, cream and sugar set as well as a few plates that I've collected. I love the farmhouse look. Clean and simple. Pamela
ReplyDeleteI love all the linen and the beautiful little tea-cup. Oh yes, the cookies looks good too. ;-)
ReplyDeleteYour style is right up my alley, Jacqueline. White, sweet, simple, warm, and cozy! I adore that little clock dish with the eggs in it. Just adorable! :) Thanks for the beautiful inspiration tonight. ♥

There's just something about the word 'farmhouse' that makes us feel all warm and cozy, isn't there. I love everything you have shared today.

ReplyDeleteHi Jacqueline
ReplyDeleteFarmhouse decor has a comfort element to it, likely because of our ancestors. My grandparents were farmers and I can remember my grandmother telling me about hitching the horses herself to plough fields.
You have some really neat stuff in your collection.
Such beautiful images!
ReplyDeleteI have always loved a country, farmhouse feel for my home. Whether it was an apartment, patio home or now a southwestern track home. I just can't go any other way! :)

Hi Jacqueline...love your post!
ReplyDeleteThe flower frog in the ironstone is perfection to me!
I love all the pretty white & natural accents -- especially those pitchers. I may need to get busy with some white spray paint.
