Lovely Links From the Week

As long as it takes to get here, June always takes me by surprise. There is never enough of it to go around. The freshness of summer doesn't take long to wilt into July, so I can sometimes feel in a hurry to fit everything in. Mornings are especially delicious, emerging without a trace of yesterday's stale air. The joyful feathered sound of the early hours leaches a long way into the fiber of the day. Nothing sweeter than a morning in June.

I've rounded up a few beautiful celebrations of the new season that stood out for me this week. I hope you like them too! (Image Cabin & Cottage)

Thanks for stopping by!
I hope you're loving the first weekend in June!
Ciao! for now!

  3. I totally agree with you, June needs to have a lot more days in it...maybe we could take some out of the more dismal winter months.(-:

  6. I know what you mean about June mornings. As you know, most mornings here in the northwest are dark, grey, cold, wet, and gloomy. BUT this morning, even though the sky is whitish, not blue (never like the gorgeous blue of Albuquerque's bluesky), it is not grey and it is warmer and the air just smelled soooo fresh and sweet! It was quite blissful! I will enjoy the day---the rains return tomorrow.
Arne Maynard's gardens at belgian pearls were stupendous!! Would love to see the inside of that place! Loved your post on Robert Redford, too, especially the photo of Mr. Cottage!!!!
    Love, Kay
