This small gathering of cheery china and glass begins with a tiny porcelain egg-shaped Limoges box.
The inch and a half egg is nestled inside a pretty little lidless sugar bowl, also Limoges.
The lovely detail makes it a keeper perhaps to be used to present flowers or as a vanity catchall. Stray pieces of Limoges can often be found for just pennies.
A matching platter with no flaws is a bit of a rarity.
Bits and pieces of red transferware find their way into my cupboard as well.
The intricate scenes invite one into a fanciful utopian world.
Even more fun when one when one has visited the site depicted!
Do you have a few little seasonal celebrations to attend? Or maybe one to host? It seems like every week is just packed with them for awhile. In any case, I hope your week is grand!
Ciao! for now!
