Vintage Inspired Seed Packets

I've always loved the look of seed packets, and especially those that remind me of vintage seed catalogs. Not only do Botanical Interests seeds fit that bill, they also have some wonderful mixes that make things easy, like their hummingbird or bees mixes (which are also oversized). And believe me, EASY is good!

Why not add one to a simple gift to up the cheer factor?

Take the vintage inspiration one step further, and pop a few seed packets into an old McCoy pot or pitcher. McCoy has such wonderful colors, and you can find them with dings for not much money.

Be sure to open your seed envelopes with care so you can save and enjoy them long after planting season is over. Who wouldn't love a "just because" gift like this?

I'm hoping this brings us a little cheer today!
Ciao! for now!

Jacqueline

  4. Hi Jacqueline!
What a sweet idea! As a child our neighbor had loads of 4 o'clocks in their front gardens and i do remember how they opened . . . or was it closed . . . around 4:00! Think I'll give them a try this year!!
    Thanks for sharing!

  8. Hi JQ,
Beautiful packets! Are you taking up gardening or passing them off to the gardener? I remember my Grandmother (in your neck of the woods) loving four o clocks, I guess we don't have the heat to make them happy here. Love the bee mix!!
I realized I never answered your watery window question... it's just a road and gravel median, my windows have old wavy glass, makes for a circus fun house view at times, it can be scarey at night!
    Hugs,
    Bella
