Tea Party Under A Halloween Moon

My enchanted tea cups sprouted roses overnight in anticipation of a tea party under the full moon!

There's a crispness to the air, and a feeling that anything can happen in the eerie midnight light.

The woodland birds are just settling in to keep watch.

Candlelight flickers and sets the imagination wild! You might want to keep your eyes wide open on this spooky October night.

If the birds nest in spring, the rest of us do it in the fall. Acorns nestle in as well as eggs for the season.

I haven't taken my Wedgewood out since spring either, but even the name fits the mood for this table.

My silverplate service is vintage R. Wallace. I don't know the name of the pattern.

The underlayer is vintage French monogrammed damask linen with a spidery vintage ecru crochet lace tablecloth laid over.

An heirloom silverplate Rogers Bros. tray corrals my tea service.

Napkins are my plain cream linen standbys.

Leafy McCoy jardinier with dried baby's breath.

The Spode grapevine jug coordinates so well with the Wedgewood Queensware.

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you stay cozy!
Ciao! for now!
