Farmhouse Fantasy




I sincerely hope that I don't make you dizzy with these photos! I'm always captivated by the early light streaming in from my dining room windows. It struck me how timeless it often looks cast on my vintage things in this room. The back lighting gave the shots a naturally aged look that I wanted to enhance. So I made my first foray into PicMonkey!





The photos that follow show the original followed by the one with enhancements. Some of the changes are quite subtle with only a simple change. I got carried away with inventing stories for the others. I had the time of my life! The quite plain photo above is before, and the following one below is after. . . .


The texture I used here included the script Margaret, my grandmother's name.

I wish now that I had applied borders to all the photos! But I do like the water stain texture here.
