So clean and fresh looking...What a beautiful table!<br />So clean and fresh looking, and with those darling cherries on the cloth -- fabulous.<br />This really brings back memories for me. When I was a child, we summered on Long Island in a little seaside bungalow, with family all around us -- and all the "great aunts" and grandmas had this style of cloth, and glassware, heavy white plates, etc. --- their summer things. <br /><br />Wonderful memories of beautiful times. I also remember her using the dishpan for other chores too. My beloved Mother ~in~law used a dishpan for E V E R Y T H I N G when I first entered "The Family"! No dishwasher heard of a the "Family Farm"...we did them by hand!!! Some of my fondest days are doing dishes with Mary...that's where I learned all the "Family Secrets". . and we're NOT talking about recipe exchange here, no ma'am!<br />She plucked chickens in that dishpan; snap green beans in that dishpan; washed her undies in that dishpan; even mixed up popcorn balls in that dishpan! <br />I adore the use of your vintage Belgian duvet cover under the retro tablecloth! The hues are harmonious and compliment each other as old feed sacks and prints!
